Planning Center is an online based organiser for putting together a church service. It includes heaps of features for organising church musos. Here’s a quick intro video to see what I mean.

It’s not free however, well there is a free version, but it can only roster 10 people. So, to do one service at TAC it would be $14US/month, $29US/month for 2 services.

A similar application is Church Director, but it’s major flaw is the lack of a song database. In talking with the developer, there’s no plan for a song databse.

I’d still like to see free open source software to do this. I started building something a while back, but it was more a project to get me started with CodeIgniter.
