Oh oh, Apple has caught the Microsoft disease and delayed the next version of their operating system, Leopard.

I’m waiting to upgrade on Mac till Leopard is released, so that’s a bit annoying. Hopefully new hardware will still be released at the WWDC in June.

I was planning on buying a MacBook Pro when Leopard was released. Now I am thinking of buying earlier and upgrading to Leopard.

I don’t see any reason why Apple would delay hardware upgrades because of the Leopard delay. A Mac OS X upgrade is no problem. I upgraded my iMac from 10.2 (Jaguar) to 10.4 (Tiger) with ease.

Danny, Do you think that Apple will still release hardware updates on schedule (so presumably will see some at WWDC)? Also, how messy/or not is a Apple OSX upgrade? Simon.
