We all know (admit it) that sitting in front of a computer to work, often means procrastination and distraction. Dark Room is a very simple app for writing. It’s basically a text editor, but the difference is it makes your whole screen black, and you write in green (think Microbe / Apple IIe).

So, there are a couple of people out there writing scripts, essays, even school reports – you might find this app really helpful (even for writing blog posts).

Dark Room is a Windows port of WriteRoom an OSX app. Found via MacBreak Weekly 15.
