Are My Sites Up? is a simple and free way to check if the web-sites you look after are working. [via CSS Tricks]
If you don’t look after web-sites, but sometimes wonder if a site is broken or if there’s something wrong with your connection or ISP, try Down for everyone or just me?.

Looking to add playable MP3s to your site, check out Yahoo! Media Player. But adding a single call to a script, any MP3 on a page gains a play button, which when pressed pops out a nifty little player. V. nice. A very easy option for Church web-sites.

Making Shortwave (see yesterday) even better, a plugin that allows Shortwave to be a search in the Firefox search box, easily accessible with Cmd+K on the Mac. Now, a search is as easy as “Cmd+K ‘g simon’ Return”.
