Amazon’s electronic bookreader coming to Australia.
Here’s the Australia specific product page. The international edition page lets you pick Australia and in the pop-up there’s a link for a coverage map (the Kindle includes free 3G wireless connectivity). For Sydney, there’s 3G coverage, however, outside of the metro area. No 3G – no details on which carrier is supplying the 3G.

Google Search just got complex... bring back simplicity! See also Google Blog post and there’s also a demo on YouTube. Looks rather useless to me, but to some people who think Google is the internet, this might be very helpful.
