A great photo of the Shuttle ‘Atlantis’ and Hubble passing in front of the Sun. Best comment when I showed this in class: “wouldn’t the Shuttle be getting really hot?”

With the release of the official portrait for President Barack Obama comes this note: “It is the first time that an official presidential portrait was taken with a digital camera.” By the way, the change.gov web-site is built with ExpressionEngine.
