The official Sneak Preview – most detailed sneak preview I’ve seen. Very much looking forward to EE 2.0.
If you need to build a web-site, I can’t recommend ExpressionEngine highly enough. I really should move this site over to it shouldn’t I!

A simple comparison between Textpattern (TXP) and ExpressionEngine. I agree with the conclusion, TXP for small sites, EE where greater customisation is required.

Check out this nice design, it’s a new look but as with past looks by Bartleme Design it’s stylish. He’s moved to ExpressionEngine as well.

The pMachine Developer Blog notes the release of ExpressionEngine 1.5 (up from 1.4.2). Whilst only a .1 bump, what I like about pMachine is any update is always extensive. The Change Log shows what I mean – whilst there are number of bug fixes, there is also a pile of “Added” features.
Most noteable is the inclusion of a new module with the personal and commerical license, the Simple Commerce Module. The Simple Commerce Module makes it possible to integrate Paypal functionality into your site. But in the usual EE way, it’s more than simply creating a link. It allows for individual email templates for each product, and the ability to use Paypal for web-site subscriptions by integrating with the Member module.
I use ExpressionEngine on the Toongabbie Anglican Church web-site, and shortly will be adding a photo gallery to the site using EE’s gallery module. EE is such a flexible and extensive system for a church site. Check out ExpressionEngine via this link and if you decide to buy a license I get a small commission.
