Back in May, I asked you to help me pick a maths teaching related domain name. I picked mathsclass.net.

Yesterday I launched the site as a blog that focuses on using technology in the maths classroom.

MathsClass.net

As I mentioned in my previous post, technology did not feature prominently in my teaching last year. Hopefully this blog will help me to collect ideas and think about how to use online resources with my classes.

I’ll probably post there once a week, and future articles will be shorter than the first one.

After posting about the site on a maths teachers email list, I’ve already found a blog by another career changer.

Simon,

Funny that you mention the career changing thing, my physics teacher at high school was an electrical engineer who got bored. He thought the whole teaching thing would keep him interested since it was changing all the time; turned out it was a great match as he was one of my best teachers in high school. Al.
