How to backup the backup?

Categories: Computing,

I have a network connected external hard drive that has lost the capability to communicate with one network protocol. So, I need to return it under warranty, however that means I need to backup all the data on it.

This device has the backup of two machines, all the files from my old PC which I’m not prepared to delete yet and some less critical stuff that I still don’t want to loose. In total 300Gb.

So, how do I backup the backup device before shipping it off for repair?
