How do you like your feeds?

A informal little survey, to find out your feed reading preferences.

Feeds (RSS, Atom etc.) are catching on as a way to get regularly update content delivered to you, not just for tech-heads, but I think “regular readers” (whatever that means) are also finding the convenience of feeds.

Say a site has multiple feeds – e.g. for a blog and one or two podcasts. And assume, that these feeds are low volume (1 or 2 posts each per week). Which would you rather:

1. each feed to be separate, so you can control what you subscribe to
2. just two feeds, one which is text posts, the second for podcasts (all podcasts)
3. a combined feed of all text posts and podcast items
4. the option to choose separate or combined feeds

Feel free to just leave a 1, 2, 3 or 4 in your comment… thanks.
