A little poll… Do you know of Flickr? Do you use Flickr? Just wondering how many of this blog’s readers are actually using these “Web 2.0” apps, so I thought I’d ask about Flickr given it’s probably one of the most well known (maybe apart from YouTube).
Flickr is the best known name on the web for storing and sharing your photos. It’s features are brilliant, easy to find photos on different topics/thoughts/places.
I’ve had a Flickr account for a while, but had never uploaded to it. On the weekend, staying out of the heat, I uploaded some photos from our 2003 holiday. I was able to geocode many of the photos, meaning associate a location with them – here’s my Flickr map.
I have heard of Flickr but I haven’t used it. Your Flikr map looks pretty cool. I might try it out of a rainy weekend.
