A week or so ago, I attended a seminar for Maths teachers. The presenter frustrated me with his poor presentation skills, and so as not to become completely distracted, I wrote out a list of things to be mindful of when presenting.

Despite starting a new career this year as a maths teacher, this blog has hardly mentioned it, partly because talking about my current employment is not really something I intended for this blog. The other reason, is that I haven’t really collected my thoughts about this change in career.

The plan was to build a new desk, ready for when I started uni. That didn’t happen. However, a few weeks late, the new home-made desk has been installed, and it’s great.
