Now that iTunes Australia is here and a podcasting service has been launched by SydneyAnglicans.net, podcasting is likely to take off in Sydney churches. But will that just mean audio sermons distributed via RSS, or something more?

I have been a Norton/Symantec user since I’ve had an IBM PC. In the early years, I used Norton Utilities. In later years SystemWorks and recently AntiVirus. But no longer.

With Apple getting more and more serious about video, it’s time they released QuickTime Pro for free. I’ve previously discussed this, but raise it again in the light of the new iPod with video capability.

My feed reader of choice, Bloglines, has added some simple, but helpful, features to the Blogline interface.

My brief post this morning did not do Apple’s overnight releases justice, so here are some random comments on the new products from Apple. I haven’t listened to the keynote yet, nor read every detail on the Apple site, so I may have details wrong.

To submit a podcast to the Apple iTunes podcast directory, you need an iTunes account (see Do I need a credit card to subscribe to podcasts?). Problem is, this means that Australian residents cannot submit podcasts to the directory.
